  100 percent Grenache wine, made from vines between 60-80 years old, aged for 10 months in barriques (70 % American, 30 % French). Decanted: two hours prior to consumption. Deep, dark cherry-red colored wine and an expressive bouquet with abundant vanilla and oak-tones (almost unpleasant) and also some medicinal notes. Good concentration on the palate, but the taste is completely overpowered by the dominant wood influence and the strong tannins. This needs certainly more time ; I think that at least 3 more years of cellaring are needed to smooth sharp edges.
  
  100 procent Grenache-wijn, gemaakt van wijnstokken tussen de 60-80 jaar oud, met een rijping van 10 maanden in barriques (70% Amerikaans, 30% Frans). Gedecanteerd: twee uur voor consumptie. Diepe, donkere kersrode kleur en een expressief bouquet, gedomineerd door massieve vanille- en eiktoetsen (bijna onprettig), alsook enkele medicinale tonen. Smaak: een behoorlijk geconcentreerde wijn, doch nog niet echt genietbaar omwille van de dominante houtinvloed en de krachtige tannines. Heeft nog wel wat tijd nodig (zeker drie jaren) om zich van zijn scherpe kantjes te ontdoen.
