Well, what we have here? An opulent dark juice. A fruit bomb (black currants, tobacco leaf, boiled potatoes, liquorice) on the nose. Mouthfeel is dense also with high acidity and a shortie length. This bottle seems to be one of those Alion of last week. Is that a good thing? Is this going to have a good performance in ten years? Neither Casa Ferrerinha knows.... By the way, what the hell are doing those greek women in the label?

Greenish, with tough tannins. The fruit is sweet and acidity marked, so I'd try this one again sometime in the future (if we take 2002 as a standard, another 5 years will probably do it some good).

Berries on the nose, typical violet colored. In the mouth, again berries and plumb, well balanced oak (discrete tanines and not that wood taste). Good wine that deserves another year or two in the storage. will worth more. IF you are buying to open now, you get a Duas Quintas or Crasto for better prices....
