Drinking well right now. Took about an hour to properly open up in the decanter. Berry notes dominate even after 15+ years. Medium to full bodied, with temperate tannins.

Our first meeting and I must say that we had expected more. Hard and closed and still after 3 hours in bottle and glass it, it was a bit unfrendly type of red. The price in DK is 69 dollars , and it is too much......

This wine was tasted unblinded at the Vintage Wines, Ltd. tasting bar. The robe is opaque black/purple and the nose shows moderately intense aromas of ripe cassis, black cherries and vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate, with low-to-medium acidity, big ripe tannins and hot alcohol (conservatively listed as 14.5%). The flavors are primarily those of black fruits and the middle palate is solid, although dripping with oak. The medium-length finish ends with a whiff of heat. This is a "fruit bomb" Cabernet with appeal for many but, for my palate, is laden with too much alcohol and oak. Drink 1/13-12/20.
