A brilliant golden/hay color, this wine shows ripe apple, almonds and vanilla aromas. Medium bodied, showing fresh granny smith apple flavors, with a layer of oak. Clensing on the finish.

Similar to my notes on the wine dated 7-24-11, except for the additional notes of orange liquor on the nose, along with lemon, butter, minerals, French oak. Crisp and rich feel in the mouth. Flavors of lemon, some orange liquor and honey. A very nice finish, but not especially explosive as I last indicated. Paired very nicely with shrimp, cooked in a modified Creole sauce with no hot spices.

Gold color; looks non-filtered. Aromas of toasty French oak, butter, lemon, minerals, smoke. Rich and concentrated mouth feel. Flavors of lemon, a tad of orange liqueur, honey. Very good acid. Explosive and lingering finish. Paired 0K with baked salmon. The acid probably would make this better with a cream sauce based white fish or shell-fish. I really enjoyed the wine better by itself. Score 92-93.

Just had a small glass. Disappeared quickly at a small party. Nice pale gold in color with vanilla and honey overtones on the palate. Enjoyed it.
