  The wine looks violet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like toast, prune, cherry, flint, lead pencil and carnation. It tastes like prune, cherry, medium toast, clove and honeysuckle. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

  drank with '09. i thought the '09 better with more structure and some spice, but my wife thought '08 better and claimed the '09 flat ... score is mine (not average)

  very well balanced with that Sonoma structure ... i was just waiting for something more / unique. i will let it sit for a few hours and see how it changes ... :)
