I liked this even better than the 2008. This is a great combination of crisp acidity, and smooth, mouth filling white fruit flavor. The color is very close to that of apple cider. The nose has a really nice hint of molasses, ginger, and other brown spices. Relatively light, but still very vibrant on the palate with pear, pineapple, lemon, apricot, and cinnamon. Barely medium bodied, quite elegant. Medium acid. The finish reminds me of sassafras root. Just a touch of oxidation, and maybe even some dry skin tannins. not quite concentrated and layered enough to break the 90 point glass ceiling, but close.

This wine really had me scratching my head as I struggled to pinpoint any particular flavors. I can say it was crisp, refreshing and that we both enjoyed it. Part of a mixed summer case by K.C. A nice surprise especially given that it cost 11 bucks.

Fantastic. Terredora di Paolo seems to do everything well. Delicious, slightly effervescent crisp zinger with intense tropical fruit flavors. Great value. Great wine.

(Terredora di Paolo Falanghina Irpinia) Light medium lemon yellow color; pointed pear, apple, smoke, mineral nose; tasty, fairly concentrated, tart white fruit, pear, ripe grapefruit palate with grip; medium-plus finish 90+ pts.

Crisp, mineral driven. Can stand up to chicken or a cream sauce.
