Should have been drunk in 2011 (?) but the wine is still lively and fruity. Easy drinking Tepranillo with soft tones of red berries and vanilla. In the nose cherries, a bit of bananas and almond. Medium acidity and tannines and a bit spicy (kardamon?). The first glass is an invitation for another, but that's it! Rewarded wit 82 points.

Ruby red. First impression, notes of cherry, cranberry, smoke, hints of oak. Palate- cherries, cranberry, young oak, pomegranate, firm gripping tannin. Sourish dry finish, acid aftertaste. Age for a few years more may help to soften tannin. Fruits fails to reveal after 6 hours airing. Young wine. A3P3C3

Balanced, deep purple, and very dry Protocolo wine that went well with Bouef Bourguignon; however, other Spanish temprenillo is more to my taste.

Dark ruby red. Sour cherries, raspberry and oak. Very hard to argue with the price. Is much better when paired with food or chocolate.

Got better a couple days later. Earthy. Not bad for the price.
