Having a grilled Mediterranean dinner tonight, found this in the Mediteranian-Section of the cellar and gave it a go. Smooth and dry, On the powerful side not thinned by age. stewed plum, typical aged tempranillo taste profile. Good example of the type, Gave it an 89 in the best sense of an 89. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It tastes like plum. The body is full. The wine has angular texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

A nice bottle. Deep red colour. Plum and blackberry flavours start, moving towards more leather and earth. Tannins are moderate and this could stay in the cellar another few years.

We've had much better Spanish, earthy, Tempranillo. It's got biting, grippy, distracting tannins. It's not becoming. In our cellar since May 2018. We had hoped for more, but 88.9, seems about right, a little high even. Underwhelming. Almost good. After 30 minutes open, the fruit began to show up, like West Chester mentioned. Tannins dissipated some. OK, this is good sign... Pour another and dig in... But... Still lacking... Had w a spicy veggie meatball w mushroom spaghetti dish. Wanted balance but the flavor is just acceptable, nothing more... 87/88 Pts.

Very solid bottle of wine, especially for the cost. Smooth. Full flavored. Dry. Got better as it aired out - maybe open and let sit 30-45 minutes before drinking.
