Black Lion Wine Club - Chenin Blanc and Syrah/Shiraz (The Black Lion): Medium gold colour. Prounounced intensity aromas of quince, honeycomb, vanilla, wet wool, wax, wet stones. Fully developed. Bone dry, high acidity, medium (+) body and alcohol (14%), pronounced flavours similar to the nose, great complexity, fills the mouth. Long finish. Outstanding wine, drinking beautifully, no hurry to drink up, but I doubt it will improve. Enjoy!

Great Chenin at peak. High acids, quite aromatic.
Completely agree with AndrewBDC on the description

Golden colour, nose of pear wet wool and bruised apple. Austere wine, hint of bitterness but wth food the minerality and fruit come together.

Good laden colour, bruised apple, wax, lanolin. Dry and with a combination of fullness and dry austerity. Excellent intensity of flavour.
