Ditto on previous note, nice balance btw fruit and very soft tannins. Minimal oak. Interesting PN inter-comparison, I had this day-to-day with a Sojourn Sangiacomo Vineyard PN; the Sojourn exhibited a rich, somewhat over oaked mid- and back-palate, the Alma Rosa was smooth, rich and ripe but noticeably less oaked. Why do vintners feel they need to mess with comes from the vine?

Opened 6/14...; Light, pink & red color. Interesting flowery aroma, very effusive, with spicy herbal tones. Aroma also infused with red cherry and raspberry. Medium mid-palate with a bump-up finish of rounded tannins. Nice to drink now, age probably won't expand on this already nice flavor profile.
