  An intensely interesting bottle. From the first pour it's nearly indistinguishable from the 2009 - still a little spritzy and not much more evolved in flavor. But it fleshes out in an interesting way as it sits in the decanter, never taking on any kind of the fatness you might associate with the 2003 vintage in other regions but still coming across less bony than I'm accustomed to. The flavor is pretty much equal parts crushed stone and rosy flower petals and it's still an exceptionally youthful bottle: no shift towards the savoriness or funk of age yet. At Le Bis du Severo.
