  • N: Developing, toastiness, butterscotch, ripe tropical fruit like pineapple, mango.
P: Medium+ acidity, medium+ fruit intensity of ripe baked red apples, yellow fresh plumminess, pineapple. Hint of smoky minerality, popcorn, lanolin. Medium+ to long length, medium alcohol (12,5%)/balanced, medium+ to full-bodied.
Q: A very well made upper medium price Burgundy white with a still pronounced, but elegant toasty oaky touch. Drinks okie-dokie with food already now, but clearly benefits in balance from a longer, min. 5-6yrs' cellaring. €13,99 =D

  • Yellow fruits, citrus, some floral notes and a load of butter (esp. after the wine warmed up).
Dry, quite crispy and medium bodied with notes of bananas and citrus fruits. Some minerality. The oak toast and the overall butteriness of the wine become a bit overpowering when the wine opens and warms up. Nuts and peppery nuances in the aftertaste.
This seemed quite nice at first - but ultimately couldn't handle the oak. So, I'd pop and pour and serve well chilled.
