I am probably the only one tasting this in 2012. What a disappointment. I agree with everyone's comments. This is a bomb. Not sure if it was bad but it borders on pouring it down the sink. However, the cherry flavor although sour taste comes through. I can not get over the cloudiness of the wine. I know why it is named "Fog". I have had better $7 bottles of wine. Too bad I bought 3 bottles.

Dark ruby almost to the rim but no amber or bricking - just much lighter in shade - A reticent nose of plum, cherry and spice? In the mouth an overwhelming sour cherry palate that is not at all enjoyable - 24 hours later this was drinkable with food but with 11 more bottles in the cellar -OUCH!!!!

A review of the Cellar Tracker tasting notes indicates that there may be some bottle variablity with this wine - it is either praised or despised. Unfortunately my bottle was nothing to praise. The wine has a deep purple color and was very cloudy; nose was alcoholic with oxdized fruit; on the palate the wine was very unpleasant with alcohol and acid dominating; the typical carbonated mouth feel of Adrian Fog Pinots was present but nothing else resembled their usually excellent wines.

Beautiful fruit. Cherries galore. Long wonderful finish. Funky alcoholic nose.
