  • Still inky colour, lilacs and freshly picked grapes on the nose, a bit closed - this gets better over time, showing a more flowery bouquet. On the palate very "grapey" at first but opens up with and delivers violets, plum and a nice firm structure with a steady tannic backbone, medium length and with a more complex spicey taste then. Good, should go for a few years, if I had another bottle I would decant it in any case.

  • Dark red almost purple. Very smooth, oak well integrated, red fruits with spicy finish. Drinking well but will age some more.
