Second La Paulee Warmup Dinner (Ai Fiori - New York NY): Popped and poured. Lots of fat fruit that initially came across at fat and slightly simple. Expands with more air. Upside from here.

Delicate lightly perfumed aromas, dry edgy lemon lime with an earthy edge. Wonderful depth and concentration in a very pristine way. Feels like it is just hinting at potential.

Huge body on this wine, almost creamy in mouthfeel. Floral aromas seem to explode from the glass. Once tasted, the flavors seem a little muted vs the nose, but I suspect this is a question of time. I got pineapple, quince, and apple with a almond finish.
