Lesser Italian White Varietals (Duchman Family Winery Driftwood, Texas): Upon opening it had an off-putting petro-chemical smell, but it tasted much better than the nose. The wine had bright acidity and tasted of candied almonds, cotton candy, leche, lemon cream, and peach pits. After time the nose retained the petrol, and the wine took a more herbal note, with celery, dry herbs, vegatal, and slight citrus flavors. An interesting, nice wine with an undelicate nose.
