Just as good as the last bottle! Ripe, creamy blackcurrant, herbacious characters and tobacco on the nose. A rich and full palate shows dried fruit and liquorice characters. A really lovely drop.

Black centre with a purple hue. Intense noses of ripe blackcurrant, herbacious characters and cigar box. The palate is rich and filled with fruitcake as well as tobacco and liquorice characters. Well balanced.

Deep centre, dark ruby red - purple. Powerful nose of plum and some blackcurrant. Secondary aromas of black pepper (slight) and liquorice. Medium tannins, flavour continuing with plum & spice. Reasonable finish with an overall pleasing balance. Good value.

Old Bridge Cellars Australian Tasting (Fleming's Steak House, Houston Texas): It didn't taste like Cabernet or Malbec but it did taste rather nice. Decently balanced with some plum flavors. This wine might be a good candidate for a "house" red - relatively inexpensive and approachable for non-winos. Under screwcap and about $13.
