There seem to be so many California Pinot Noirs on the market whose only resemblance to a Pinot is the name on the label. This one isn't like that. It smells like a Pinot. It tastes like a Pinot. By George, it is a Pinot. No cluster fermentation here; this is a low tannin light wine. Very berry forward with a (more subdued that I prefer, but still nice) earthy backdrop. It has a beautiful cherry color in the glass and, of course, was as good at the start as when more aerated at the end.
