Gourmetklubbens femtiosjätte middag (A+N, Sundbyberg): (Disgorged in October 2016, base year 2013 with 50% reserves, 60% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay) Yellow colour with lots of streams with fine bubbles rising in the glass showing a maturing nose of fresh herbs, nuttiness and some baked bread in a delicious way. Green apples crispy acidity on the palate with a citrus driven mid and a lengthy finish showing some herbs. (Best with 3-9 years extra cellaring)

Very good entry-level champagne, if you could call it that. Powerful wine, both on the nose and on the palet. Green apples, almond and brioche. Some oak notes. Long finish. Very nice.

Brioche, honey and chalk. A Jan 2014 disgorgement, their first release of the Extra Brut cuvée. Aging gracefully as Dethune’s champagnes always do. Merry Christmas!
On day three, crisp green apples. Delightful.

Nice brioche and stone fruit notes, and lovely crisp finish. Mineral and vegetal notes - very savoury. Good finish.

Zingy citrus nose. Lip-smackingly dry, toasted brioche, some stonefruit, almost like a tart apricot danish. Absolutely delicious.
