  • Still in a great spot, this wine is tasting extremely good right now !! i paid under $20 in 2011 for this gem !! I agree with my tasting note of 6 months ago.
The composite cork was nearly perfect after over a decade in the bottle. I consumed this balanced Pinot Noir over two days. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and cherry, flavors of cranberry, cherry cola, rhubarb, and black tea with a pleasant medium to long finish. Great fruit with firm acidity made into a very balanced Pinot Noir from Verna’s Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hill appellation of Santa Barbara County. This Pinot Noir is an age worthy wine and may have more years of life remaining. Fortunately, I still have one bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar to revisit next year. A great winemaking effort from Greg Brewer.

Popped and poured, this wine really benefited from gentle oxygen since it was much more soft & integrated on day two. • Medium garnet color. Strawberry nose. Surprised this has held up so well. On the lighter side but well-integrated red fruits, a touch of sour cherry, and mineral-laden finish. On the downside for sure, drink em if you got em.

  • Just a beautiful wine at or near peak, but in no danger of decline. This has aged so well. Juicy red fruit, nice inner-mouth perfume, long finish.
