Tasted blind. Clear, bright, medium (+) straw with a green hue. Viscosity is medium. The nose is clean, moderate in intensity, and developed, with what I perceived as a touch of oxidation, petrol and honey. The aromas of include green apple, peach, lime, citrus blossoms and wet slate. No evidence of oak aging. The palate is barely off-dry, with high acidity, medium (-) alcohol (10.5%) and a crushed stone minerality on the finish. The palate is consistent with the nose, with medium (+) flavor intensity, complexity and length. This is a high quality, cool to moderate climate, Old World Riesling or Chenin Blanc. It does not have any of the markers of the latter, however, My conclusion was a 6-year old Riesling from Alsace, given its richness and state of development. I would have never guessed that this is an 11-year-old Mosel. This is a really impressive and age-worthy wine, with a very long drinking window.

Residual sugar but with a beautiful acidic structure to handle it. Citrus and stone fruit. 10.5% abv. Really a delicate wine of finesse.
