Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 88 points

  • Brought by family member for my birthday. Cedar, red fruits and game on the nose. Olives, underbrush and blackberry and pepper on the palate. Some acidity, integrated tannins and slightly hot. No great weight. Toted as surplus from a' top name' for cash flow with anonymity. As I understood it cost around the mid £20's and that feels about right - so not the 'top name's' top cuvee. Very enjoyable but the best bargain '07 Hermitage was Tesco Finest which at one point cost under £20 when it was available.
