More purple than red and with a good nose of earth and clean fruit. No faults, a bit light on acid, but smooth, and pleasant with dark cherry fruit and hints of stony minerality. Moderate finish, little tannins. Overall a good effort and better than I expected, given my experience with Oregon pinot noirs to date.

Meaty, hint of red fruit on the nose. Overall soft nose. Light mouthfeel. Good wine based on what it does not have (cherry cough syrup, excessive acid, etc.) Soft on the beginning and mid palate. Nice acidic, red fruit finish.

Bright disc. Deep ruby robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense ripe plum, spice and blackberry. Medium-bodied on the palate, with medium, well-integrated tannins and similar flavors as for the nose. The good evolution ends rather abruptly with a short, somewhat acidic finish.

The Raymond: Not impressed with the subtle nose; a little wood, slight nose of leather, but almost non-existant; fair med. bod., simple.
