A Bunch of Wines on a Saturday Afternoon (Ken's): Again, the Burg fans were bending over backwards making excuses for this over the hill (if it ever even got up the hill) Pinot Noir. It could not hold a candle to the 86 Caymus Pinot, yet some were grasping at straws to find something good to say. Now, that's not a bad quality in a person, but it makes no sense just because of where the wine was made. This was thin and devoid of complexity of fruit. Not dead, but not worth drinking either.
