I'm not sure I was drinking the same thing as the previous reviewer, but I had a totally different experience. Sure, this is not d'Yquem, but it was a fine accompaniment to fresh fruit in a ginger-yogurt sauce for dessert. The flavor profile was less Sauternes and more gewurz in some ways. Great way to end a wonderful dinner.

This stuff is just horrible! It tastes like cough syrup with added Vodka only worse.

Unique Dessert Wines from Around the World (K&L Wine Merchants(Redwood City, CA)): Yellow gold color with peach liqueur, apricot, and spice aromas. On the palate medium light bodied with honeyed citrus, spiced apricot jam flavors. Medium-long finish.
