A gorgeous vin santo. Dark yellow/orange color with caramel, dried fruit on the nose. Palate is rich, deep, chewy with moderate sweetness with nutty notes and more well-rounded dried fruits throughout. Opened and poured, no decanting, and no reason to think it needs any. Still bright and fresh with no hint of being over the hill. Still can go on for a good while.

Excellent mature Vin Santo. Dark gold colour, light oxidative notes, caramel, dried fruit (apricot and fig), orange marmalade. Very well balanced, full bodied with good acidity, medium sweet, dried fruit and a long complex finish. Perfect with cantuccini.

Bright copper, hi-toned aromas of burnt sugar, spice, and orange. This is a less oxidized Vin Santo, just enough to show that side of the flavor spectrum. Still bright and fresh. Superb with almond biscotti

This can use a short decant. It started out with sherried flavors of apple cider and a note of orange marmalade on the finish, but over the course of an hour the oxidative notes disappeared, and the flavors evolved to include pear, fig, a note of cinnamon, and buttery caramel. I was a bit disappointed with it on the pop and pour, becoming much happier with it as it opened up. Good value at about $40. I don't know why people are putting such a short drinking window on this -- it seems to have several more good years in it.

Almond, orange peel, burnt sugar, caramel. Sweet but not overly cloying.
