Decanted an hour. Dark, dark purple. Moderate legs. Nose of black plum, tobacco, and chocolate. Dark fruit, dark berry, resolving tannins still present with persistent grip. Very, very nice. Years left.

With an extremely dark core and inky purple rim, Ramey's '03 Jericho Canyon Cabernet was showing vibrance and youth from the get-go, suggesting this cuvee has many years ahead of it.
On the nose, lovely notes of cigar, leather, herbs, creme de cassis, strawberry and even molasses. Very inviting and complex.
In the mouth, great structure, firm yet integrated tannins, loads of rich dark fruit (no jaminess), strawberry, pepper and traces of vanilla.
Overall a wine with excellent presence, balance, power and longevity, that lacks neither depth nor complexity. Style-wise, definitely more modern leaning, and clearly new-world in style, unlike other Ramey's I've tasted which could pass for 2nd growth left bank claret.
Strong performance meritting 91 points on the night (and probably a higher score if I were more of a modernist). Drink now through 2030 (and possibly beyond).

Rich, gorgeous stuff. Probably a little past peak, but still going strong. Drink now.

From 3L. Fantastic at 20 years with no signs of fading. Posted photo.

Felt the fruit more than I expected. Drank after a Dal Forno which suited more.
