  What excites me about this Barolo is the femininity I perceive in it; it's big, virile and masculine at some essential level (saddle leather, some tannins) but appears balanced and perfectly refined at this point in its development. Rose petals and pretty leather, a tiny bit of sweetness, but mostly bright clean acid and tertiary flourishes. Really like this. To my palate, this is in a perfect window right now.

  Vel colore luminoso rubino con leg. unghia granata, naso speziato , rosa rossa, leggeri fruttini dalla fragola alla ciliegia e accenni di cuoio. Bocca tannica, era un pò che non lo bevevo e devo ritemprare il giudizio della bevuta in cantina, molto fitti i tannini e graffianti ma maturi, bella freschezza e con un bel finale fruttato quasi sapido terroso.
