  Last bottle from a case bought up on release.
  Quite similar to the bottle drunk a year ago.
  Trademark Tuscan nose and palate.
  No improvement shown since last time (See note from 2014-08-09).
  A fine wine, that I could perhaps by again.

  Vino davvero molto maschio, incentrato su forti note di foglie secche di tabacco, scatola di sigari, cuoio bagnato, pepe nero, torrefazione. Frutto forse un poco spento. Tannini molto decisi e potenti, retrogusto amaricante e lungo.
  Da bere con qualcosa che ne regga l'esuberanza e ne domi l'irruenza a tratti scalpitante.
  Prezzo (25 euro) piuttosto elevato, ma anche la qualità del vino è alta.

  A year since last bottle and this has developed allot.
  Very Tuscan in profile, but with hints of left bank Bordeaux coming thru.
  On the nose pencil shavings, gravel, touch of smoke and meat, herbs, & dry red earth.
  Fine red berries on the nose.
  On the palate this shows some early maturity, with tincan, blood, fine sour red berries.
  Good length, with nice medium + tannins present, good acidity and structure.
  A little tiny bit harsh on its own, but a very food friendly wine indeed.
  This is coming around the bend now, and has developed nicely over the last year.
  It will improve and get (much) better with further cellar time, as the material is all there and in good shape.
  Fine stuff!

  more closed than the 2007 .the fruit seemed a bit disjointed. finished off
  on day 2 and was much better but still not as good as the 2007. try again in a year or so.
