  Superb. Not at the end of its run by a long shot, but it may very well be drinking at its peak. Intense black currant and blackberry, perfectly timed flourish, good framing acidity and a nice long finish.

  Stunning Merlot. Decanted one hour before serving with a dinner of marinated tri-tip, mashed potatoes and roasted fennel. A nose of blackberry and cocoa let you know this is going to be good. Concentrated flavors of black currant, chocolate and a diffuse spiciness wash over your mouth, with an incredible richness. Tannins are very fine-grained and well in balance. Lovely.
