  First time back since I first tried this wine in 2011. Flavours as my previous notes and as before benefits from being open a day or so. Very good value Sauternes. Lovely with Christmas mince pies this time.

  I have to concur regarding the synthetic rubber odour, which I found very off-putting. Obvious sweetness without any outstanding specific flavours. Which lends me to mark at around 80 points.
  
  I went back to the remaining wine in the bottle two days later and found the odour had completely blown away, honey and candid fruit flavours coming through, no bitterness and a nice finish, I enjoyed it with Christmas cake.
  
  What I thought was an average wine on first impression was infact a very decent wine..

  Synthetic rubber aroma but mellowed down to del Monte pineapple nose after the temperature dropped. Little hints of botrytis as it may still be too young. Some hints of apricots, peaches, marmalade bittiness and obvious honey but distinction is not too precise. Good but not great. 85 points
