  Deep, dark, gold colour. Incredible nose of slightly burnt toffee, bitter marmalade, mixed spice, candied fruits and citrus rind. Mouthfeel is rich yet juxtaposed with a lightness of the multitude of combined flavours/elements like above but even more pronounced. Extraordinary balance of sweetness \acidity for such an ancient Riesling, with a gorgeously long and lingering finish. I'd say a few years passed its peak, so drink up if you're lucky enough to have a bottle or two!
