Good crunchy, rustic Italian red. Light/medium mouth feel, but, intense in flavour. Plenty of red fruit fleshed out with plenty of earthy aromas too. A good amount of acidity and tannins help drive it along through to a good length of finish.

Earth, game, and understated red fruit aromas. Classic Rosenthal with its acid profile and purity. Modest and robust (and tasty) enough for homemade bolognese.

Nice crunchy, slurpy, robust wine - full bodied but full bodied Italian style rather than new world style - a nice green tinge in there too to keep it fresh. I drank this over 2 days and it was much more rounded on the second day - the first day it was rather aggresive. Classic slurping food wine.

Has a gamey, loam-laden nose. Has thank funky Easter Lilly smell. Well constructed "old school" style. This wine is intended to be served with food (arugula salad with a veal chop?). Excellent medium body style, smooth texture. Terroir comes through big-time.

Bright ruby color. A touch of brett and earthiness jump out of the glass followed by strawberry, red cherry, and pepper flakes. There's some youthful red fruit up front before getting super vegetal with garden tomato, earth and greenness on the mid palate through finish. Slightly underripe with lingering acid on the finish. Great match for pizza. This is undeniably Old World.
