Going on 2 years since my last note for this wine. Last bottle and it killed it; not disappearing anytime soon -- those of you who still have some, enjoy over the next few years as it is ballerina-balanced to last.
Color: medium/dark ruby -> medium ruby rim. Still a huge bouquet of raspberries with a judicious lashing of oak. Palate is, not surprisingly, raspberries allied with some creamy vanilla and strawberry elements. This is still totally voluptuous in the mouth with a long, dare I say, slutty, finish. Full bodied, smooth; very much in what I have come to think of as the Booker "house" style. And here's the surprise: there is a nice transparency to the fruit (perhaps the 60% Counoise?) that actually reminds me of some old world wines that I find very appealing. Never mind my earlier note regarding drinking these sooner vs. later -- I obviously did given this note is almost 2 years older than the last!

im tired of this style, but this is still pretty tasty juice. very bold and dark fruit driven, with some choco and tar notes. so easy to get drunk on this stuff. good place right now, and could see it being great for the next 2-3 years.

I thought this would past it’s prime but it’s not. Still very juicy and has a lot of sweetness. Reminds me off an aussie wine.

Boysenberry, rhubarb, raspberry, rich red fruit, subtle yet powerful, smooth tannins, ready to drink, enjoy!

Decanted 3 hours. Consistent experience with last one opened two years ago. Simply impressive.
