  • Drinking surprisingly well, kind of a forgotten bottle at fifteen years old. Definitely showing age with hints of apple and honey but the wine is still edgy with notes of honeysuckle, flint, pear, and graham cracker. The structure is still crisp with fresh acidity, dense minerality, and a dry texture. I suggest drinking any remaining bottles up as the wine is on the verge of a downward slope.

  • Quite powerful, with fuel oil, peach & lychee on the nose, a bit of heat. Full-bodied, creamy, but a very mineral finish. Really interesting wine.

  • Has put on some weight in the last year, but in a nice way. Still with pleanty of white fruit and fowers. Has a waxy feel on the palate before giving way to stlightly crisp, mineral-laden finish.

  • All around beautiful wine. Rich and smooth mouthfeel. Flavour have all the complexity of eating flower petals, with brief moments of sweet, bitter, sour. Peach has given way to bees wax, lemon to citus rind. I would've like to try more, but, alas...last bottle!

  • Again, this wine just turns me on, over a year since the last bottle it hits my flavor spot. Nose is still beeswax, white flowers with less peach than I noted before. There is a sexy smooth mouthfeel, flovors of lemon curd, overripe honey dew melon (in the good sense), mild cinnamon/clove with just enough acid to balance the lushness, and a touch of citrus peel and jasmine tea in the finish. This wine starts out bright, then takes a profound dive into deep an smooth flavors before brightening up in the finish. Please comment if your experience is the same.
