Light, lemon, crisp, clean, nice. Tasted over the past year and better each time although scores may not reflect that precisely. No yeasty smells, balance getting better. Muscadet south of the border!
(wonder how it might age?)

Sharp, tight, very linear. This is not an expansive wine with lots of flavors rolling up your nose and around your mouth. Its something you drink clean and neat with a big plate of shell fish, or other seafood.
The Basque's answer to Muscadet.

Clean, crisp, balanced, not a lot of mouth feel. Definite chalky, yeasty notes all over the place. Interesting, but more because no one in their right mind (unless you speak this dialect) can even begin to guess at how "Ibarretxe Zorriketa Bizkaiko Txakolina Uriondo" even sounds like!! Once you get over THAT, well no biggie. Clean crisp balanced like I said.

Brown Bag Wine Dinner at Two Chefs - Double Blind; 1/8/2013-1/9/2013 (TWO CHEFS, MIAMI, FL): - It's balanced with a medium body. Polished texture with a medium finish - Al's wine. A Basque wine, that was foreign to all of us. Very interesting.
