Had it with a bean and sausage casserole. Very dark in appearance, almost black. Popped and poured. Not alot on the nose - hints of cherry. Slight tannins. A little clove, black currant, every so slightly sour. This wine may be passed its prime if it every had a prime.

Brought home from Wildfire @ cost of $6!! Awesome deal! Easy drinking, yet unique shiraz. More complexity and depth than the regular McWilliam's. Gonna get as much of this Single Vineyard as I can before the regular '04 comes back in stock.
