PnP which was definitely a mistake, this baby needs either 5 more years of sleep or a long time in the decanter. It was spooled up tight as a drum and the wall of tannins hit me in the face. I did not spend a ton of time with this as it was already later in the evening, and the palate was fatigued. But at this point dark fruit and gum sucking tannin. I tasted this about five years ago when it was much younger and had a different experience - so perhaps bottle variation or it is just in a dumb phase. If you have them let them rest or decant vigorously.

This wine gets better everytime I drink it. With some time to breathe, total intense rich cab flavors. well balanced and long lingering finish. Outstanding wine! Still have one left, at the PA sale price of $35, still have one left but wish I would have bought more.

(Haber Family Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-oh man, this smells good; big nose; big red fruit, but high end salty minerality; a little fruit roll-up candied fruit; I'm a little worried about the Oak; PALATE-the first thing I notice is this is super silky; second, it reminds me of cult CA wine from the 1999-2002 era (really big wines with big 95 point Parker scores; really smooth and really delicious); If you like that style, you will love this; this is very, very good; it's extremely well made; it's extremely delicious; it's a big, bombastic California Cab and does what it does really well; GV-93+

Classic Cabernet flavors - dark berries, some smoke and mint. Great mouth feel. Smooth finish with integrated tannins. If scoring 91-93.

Seems like a 1990's style. Not that it's a bad thing. If you want a big, extroverted Napa cab, then this is a heck of a deal.

Blind. Green pepper and beef on the nose. The palate has some cherries and chocolate. Smooth until the finish, which is a bit bitter.
