  • I found one more, still tasting great, perhaps loosing a step, at or just past peak !! I agree with my tasting notes of the past two years !!
Perfect composite cork after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and cranberry. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry compote, rhubarb, and black tea. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir from the Zotovich Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills planted in the 1990s grafted on Italian varietal rootstock. The acidity of this wine makes it age worthy and it has some life remaining. I have no bottles of this vantage remaining in my cellar. As always, a great winemaking effort from Greg Brewer.

  • Outstanding !! Really tasting great right now !! I agree with my tasting note of 5 months ago !!
Perfect composite cork after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days. As always, this balanced wine showed more fruit on the first day. On day two this wine had softened with increased depth and integrated complexity. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and cranberry. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry compote, rhubarb, and black tea. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. The acidity of this wine makes it age worthy and it has many more years of life left. Sadly, I have no bottles of this vantage remaining in my cellar. As always, a great winemaking effort from Greg Brewer.

Fortunately, I still have one bottle remaining in my cellar that I will sample soon to validate this tasting note. As always, a great winemaking effort from Greg Brewer.

  • Burgundy color with a bouquet and flavor mixing raspberries and cherries with only a hint of the undertones that identify Pinot Noir as Pinot Noir. This made it very intriguing. Very nice balance and depth with a fairly long finish. I enjoyed it a lot.
