  After some decanting and swirling, the "funky" notes opened up to a fresh, lovely pinot nose of rich berry fruit like strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and some nice hints of spice and earth as well. Richly textured and well balanced, it stood up to a range of food from dinner. Food versatile and well rounded. Very enjoyable.
