Blind, ruby red, tasted like an artificially sugar added red made in a lab with no complexity whatsoever. Some enjoyed but seemed too artificial and linear for my taste. Drink now

Shared 3 bottles of this wine with friends for a birthday dinner. Still drinking surprisingly well for its age. Smooth, dark inky red with chocolate and mocha tones. Not a wine of any finesse but good wine for the occasion enjoyed by all.

Score is based on the simple joy of the flavour of the wine out of the bottle. There are not a lot of nuances to this wine, it is fairly one dimensional, but it is enjoyable. A good wine to bring out for a dinner with some friends, it won't be a centeriece, but a very good accompaniment to the evening. Plenty of frui, lots of blackberry and a little chocolate, even palette through teh mouth and medium finish.

Nose of over-ripe bing cherries and cedar. Some tar and blackberry with a short finish. A little bit of white pepper on the finish. Probably is a little past its prime. Still not bad for the price
