Drank this wine at Ming Kee Seafood with a group of wine enthusiasts.
Wine was opened and decanted for an hour or so before consumption. Powerful with structure and lots of prunes. Tannins still evident, depriving the wine of its velvety, smooth finish. Colour is dark purplish red.
From my experience with James Irvine Grand Merlot this wine has at least another 10 years before reaching its peak.
Another hour or two of decanting should bring the wine to a higher level.
