Dark rose gold color. Sparse bubbles on the smallish side. Faint burnt orange on the nose, but significant burnt orange in the wines. A little past it’s prime but still drinking well .

I have yet to have a Moet grand vintage brut ROSE to get excited about. As you can imagine, this was no different. Purchased in 2017, this champagne is exhibiting mature rose qualities without any of the charm that they should also conjure. At times, the nose is slightly enticing. Then you take a sip, and all you get is semi-stewed strawberry with a bitter finish. I'm stupefied to understand why the brut is perfectly fine and this rose sucks nuts while commanding a higher price. My last bottle - good riddance, not buying any more unless I'm convinced otherwise.

Pink to salmon (not burnt) with decent mousse (seems fresher than what Texas Bob had) but aromatically there is a funk like old rioja or chateauneuf de pape that blew off over time. It drank nicely and seems not to be fading
