2022 Quevedo Port Advent Calendar; 12/1/2022-12/24/2022: Day 8 of the Quevedo 2022 Prestige Advent Calendar. 90ml bottle. This wine was aged in a cask. There is cola, caramel, and a touch of dried fruit on the nose. Cola also shows up on the entry, along with some chocolate, and slowly gives way to candied figs, molasses, and a nice, rich mid-palate. There is just a hint of spirit on the long finish.

2022 Port Harvest Tour; 9/22/2022-10/2/2022 (Porto, Portugal): This wine is a dark amber color with orange edges and a dark ruby center. Its fresh and subtle nose introduces a round, elegant profile with light raspberry and strawberry notes accompanied by a touch of acidity. This smooth and elegant Port stands out as one of the best tastings of this wine that I have had.

2015 Port Harvest Tour; 9/26/2015-10/3/2015 (Portugal): Bottled 2014. This isn’t being bottled for several years. Ruby in color. Served a little chilled so the nose is a bit subdued. Red fruit notes on the palate with unctuous mouthfeel. Tannins appear on the mid-palate, leading to a finish highlighted by a nice touch of cinnamon.
