Nick's 2008 Burgundy - Noize (Noizé, London): Showing red fruit, nice perfume, touch of forest floor. Medium bodied, atttractive pure red fruit, soft tannins, touch of savour, lovely energy with vibrant acidity carrying a good length harmonious finish. Excellent, drinking really well.

2008 red Burgs (Noize): Served deliciously cool, and full of flavour and energy. The wine was sensual and well-balanced, and fairly mature, with a touch of truffle and funk on the nose, and sundried tomato and some game seasoning the bright red fruit to be enjoyed on the palate. This wine had lots of personality and stood up well to the 1er cru it was served with, and we likely caught it at its peak.

Light bodied, aged brown pink on edge of glass, pale and light. Good acidity and very drinkable. Polished this off with a Sunday Roast beef, I blinked and it had gone. Nice long finish, good balance, a typical good Burgundy The wine looks rosy colored. There is light sediment in the bottle.
