  The wine is in a good place right now. Decanted a couple of hours and put back in the bottle. There is a chalkiness that underlies the dark fruit that makes the wine instantly recognizable as a Priorat. Not my favorite type of wine, but well made.

  Color cereza picota oscuro, ribete granatoso algo apagado, capa bien alta y gruesa lágrima bien tintada. Notable intensidad en nariz con aromas de fruta negra y roja bien madura entre la que destaca la grosella roja y los arándanos, suaves tostados de la barrica bien integrados y suavemente cremosos, toques especiados que le aportan cierto carácter y recuerdos de nuez moscada, hierbas del monte secas muy aromáticas, eucalipto seco, suaves notas minerales de la licorella fría, algo de regaliz negro y suave fondo de piedra fría. Buena entrada en boca, elegante recorrido de cuerpo medio pero bien concentrado y compacto, suave nervio, fruta negra madura muy sabrosa, muy buena acidez, tostados de la barrica pulidos y ensamblados, taninos dulzones, buena estructura y notable volumen, especias dulzonas, balsámicos frescos con abundante mentolado, ligera sensación licorosa, fino cacao y bien persistente. Final largo, postgusto fruta negra suavemente dulzona y retronasal especiado y mineral.

  Clean, dark, ruby. Intense aromas with black fruits, dust, ripe, leather but with a touch of freshness to it. Dry, medium acidity and body, high tannins with a dry long finish with lots of spices.
