Peaches, honey, mineral notes and some funkier nuttiness. Not as much acidity or development of the depth of aged Riesling's funk as I prefer. Very good nonetheless.

Light golden. Honey and brown spices but no secondary aromatics. Moderate weight and residual sugar, lovely baked yellow apple on the front end with a tart lemon and slate finish. Nice balance and intensity. Very enjoyable but seemingly not yet fully mature.

(Dr. Loosen Erdener Treppchen Riesling Spätlese) Light medium apricot gold color; tart apricot, petrol nose; tasty, poised, mineral palate with cut and precision; medium-plus finish

Honeyed apples and peaches. Does not have the laser-like minerality of the JJ Prums, but excellent wine nontheless.
