  Dark red, but some transparency. Fantastic nose, fully open with the faded rose scents you often find in great mature burgs. There was also a strong wild strawberry component, maybe some violet and/or licorice. Ever changing nose, great complexity. The palate was also very elegant, lithe and delicate but not full bodied. Could have been from an excellent PC. Good length.
