Enjoyable dinner.
Indeed a “Judgement of Paris” - the New World took this hands down (margin of 22 votes)
Personal achievements:
- Identified Burgs in 8 out of 9 flights
- Identified the Amiot Guy that I brought
- Identified a Chablis 1er Cru
2011 Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers 93 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
Bright, fresh nose with apricots, honeysuckle, and clay, and gets riper as it breathes. Fairly intense apricots, nectarine, and stones. Finished fairly long. Good!

2013 Bass Phillip Chardonnay Estate 90 Points
Australia, Victoria, Gippsland
Quite vegetal to start, but the bright fruits came up quickly, with lime, peach, nectarine, and some bread notes towards the end
