Mid copper a bit more generous than the blanc, some sweet light fruit giving depth to a quite dry core of citrus and light yeast with a hint of caramel, more acid than the blanc too. Better

Younger than a bottle last year, full of soft red fruit, fooled maybe. No oxidative notes, bright red fruits remain with with some hazelnut and biscuit later.

Not as good a showing as last year, rich pain au raisin, seems resrictive on the mid palate, the searing acidity seems to compact the finish, an odd showing.

Lots of ripe grapefruit, very pleasant showing (just as well - last bottle) some lean tension but well framed, certainly prettier than the 90 or 06, but no worse for that, reminds me of the 2000.

Code V41, Rich expansive nose of fat sultana, yeast and a hint of cellar. A rich opulent expereince in the mouth, harmonised sweet fruit. Effortless given the intensity. However to my mind this is fully ready now on this showing, the initial mixed maturity notes are now resolved, approaching peak, but will last a while.
